The consumers living on Grenoble St remained without running water after a pipe burst in the evening of January 18. Emergency response teams are working at the scene and the situation will be expectedly remedied by 4pm.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the water supplier “Apă-Canal Chisinau” Nadejda Fotescu said the 300 mm pipe burst because it is worn-out. The company’s workers are making effort to localize the leak and fix the problem. When the works are finished, the water supply will be restored.
