Bureau for Diaspora Relations launches campaign “I’m proud that I’m from Moldova”

Children aged between 12 and 17 who live in Moldova or are native of Moldova, but settled abroad can take part in a photo contest entitled “At home on holidays” during December 1-30, 2017. The contest forms part of the campaign “I’m proud that I’m from Moldova” that was launched by the Bureau for Diaspora Relations of the State Chancellery, in partnership with META (Moldova English Teachers’ Association), on November 28, IPN reports.

According to the Bureau for Diaspora Relations, to take part in the contest the person should take a picture of the native place and post it on a social networking site, on the page of a friend, colleague or acquaintance who is abroad, with #hashtag - #mandrucasuntdinMoldova and a short description, indicating the specific features of the place, and should urge friends to follow their example. The posting with the largest number of “likes” and comments will become a winner in the “Most popular” category.

The print screen or link of the posting with the posted message should be sent to the email address dor@gov.md, accompanied by a message with the name, surname, age of the participant and name of the native place.

A after a mixed jury commission will assess the pictures, this will offer awards to the most popular picture on social networking sites, most ingenious/original picture and most representative picture.

The names of contest winners will be placed on the official website of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations of the State Chancellery.
