Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry VasileBumakov is in Berlin on a working visit. The minister will suggest to the European officials to hold the meeting of the agriculture ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries in Chisinau, Info-PrimNeo reports. “In this meeting, we will discuss food safety in the Eastern Partnership member states. I hope the meeting will take place in 3-4 months,” the minister told a news conference. In Germany, VasileBumakov will take part in the Summit of European Agriculture Ministers on January 19 and in the opening of the official exhibition “InternationaleGruneWocheBerlin2013” (“The Berlin Green Week”). The official will have meetings with Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection IlseAigner,and Parliamentary State Secretary for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection GerdMuller. Vasile Bumakov will also meet with European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development DacianCiolos.
