After the runoff of the ordinary presidential and parliamentary elections held in Bulgaria on November 14, the local media made it clear that Moldova becomes a supplier of instability for this country, IPN reports.

In the election campaign, polling stations for Moldovans with Bulgarian nationality were set up in Chisinau and in localities in the southern part of the country.

Noting that DPS (party of ethnic Turks in Bulgaria) gains serious votes primarily in Turkey, actualno.com reports that after November 14 they can say that Moldova is another country that ensures high figures for this party. According to the quoted source, this happens amid signals of vote buying to which bivol.bg made reference.

To explain its position, the source quotes the daily “Сега” with data of the previous elections, of July 11. Then DPS won 518 votes in Moldova, which is 49.10% of the ballot. This is an amazing result as, in the elections of April 4, only two persons voted for DPS. It means that during three months, the party moved up from the end of the rankings to the top of voter preferences.

In such circumstances, after November 14 DPS became the most influential power for the Bulgarians in Moldova, with 163 votes (31.84%). BSP (party of Bulgarian Socialists) is also up with 125 votes.

The source noted that DPS didn’t gain any vote in Chisinau, where a polling station was established – either at the parliamentary elections or at the presidential ones. Most of the voters of this party, 111, cast their ballots in Comrat, to which 47 votes cast in Ceadâr-Lunga were added.
