Bulgaria U21 aims to win Sept. 3 football match in Chisinau

The young “lions” are training in Ruse for the UEFA Euro qualifying tournament, topsport.bg informed, making reference to the upcoming encounter with the Moldovan Under-21 team and to the new emblem of all the national football teams of Bulgaria, IPN reports.

According to the quoted source, the young “lions” will meet Moldova and Wales. On September 3, the Bulgarian team will play in Chisinau, while in four days Bulgaria will host the encounter with Wales on Slavia Stadium in Sofia.

Anticipating the events, the Bulgarian team’s manager Alexandr Dimitrov told journalists that he would be satisfied with two victories.

In this connection, the press reported that the U21 team (year of birth 2005) created a good impression, ranking third in “Victor Bannikov” competition in Ukraine. In the match for the third place, Iordan Petkov’s pupils defeated Georgia 1:0. With two victories, a draw and a defeat, the young “lions” deserve praise for their performance in Ukraine, said topsport.bg.
