Bulboaca residents claim someone wants to steal their land

A group of residents of Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district, claim that someone wants to steal the land nearby the village, right next to the Chisinau-Bender highway. When they went out to work the land, people realized that someone was working it already. They were told at the Mayor's Office that their lots are elsewhere now after land measurements were mixed up. Liubovi Morari, one of the residents, told Info-Prim Neo that she has almost 1,000 sq meters that were allotted to her 20 years ago. The land is right next to the national highway. In spring, when she went to work the land, almost half had already been worked. “At the Mayor's Office they told me that our land was moved. How come? Everyone stays where they were, but for certain people the land was moved”, says the woman, who believes that someone is interested in getting the fields next to the road, since they are worth more. The villagers talk about a person who has presumably occupied almost 5,000 sq meters of land adjacent to the highway. Pavel Antoci, another resident of Bulboaca, said he also has 500 sq meters that, starting fall, are being worked by someone else. The man claims that he tried to talk to the people who were working the field, but they turned aggressive on him. “I have an ownership certificate for this land. The Mayor's Office pleads ignorance, but who else could know when it is the authorities who distribute the land”, says the man. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Mayor of Bulboaca Nicolae Balanel stated that there is a complex problem at hand, which needs time to be solved. The lands were distributed 20 years ago, whereas the previous leadership of the village did several modifications on the land map. “When the land was distributed, those who came first got to choose their patch. Other received lots in remote places, where nothing can be grown. I understand the people who have been working these fields for years, and used nutrients, but we must meet all together, and clarify things”, the Mayor said. According to the Mayor, they must walk from field to field with the persons involved. There are cases when two ownership certificates were issued for the same patch of land. Nicolae Balanel said that the former authorities had exploited the land at will, both the Mayor's Office, and the Local Council. “They solved a lot of personal problems. Everyone chose their land. Better patches were given to relatives. The new map was written in 2005-2006. They should all come, so that we can sort it out”, said the Mayor. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Parascovia Gincu, mayor in the period 1999-2007, denies the allegations. “I didn't take the land for myself. There is a map for that. All they have to do is check”, said Parascovia Gincu.
