The buildings representing architectural monuments for Chisinau municipality that are located on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd. will be illuminated artistically during the night, Info-Prim Neo reports. Nicolae Vereshko, director of the municipal lighting company “Lumteh”, said that a part of the costs will be covered from the municipal budget, while the other part by the owners. “The first building of the kind is the Audit Office. We discussed with the Court’s chairman Serafim Urecheanu. He endorsed this lighting project, but the expenditure estimate is yet to be approved,” he stated. In this connection, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca invited the owners of buildings situated on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd. to become involved in the architectural-artistic lighting of the main artery of the municipality. He stressed that the Chisinau administration is ready to become fully involved in the case of budget-funded institutions or apartment buildings. The costs will be determined after April 1.
