The de facto Transnistrian authorities have announced that in November the region's budget accumulated 105 million rubles (120m lei) in revenues, short of the 190 million rubles (220m lei) needed to pay salaries to public employees as well as pensions and other welfare payments.
De facto deputy prime minister Maia Parnas was quoted by the local press as telling Transnistria's leader Yevgeny Shevchuk that the budget is in deficit and the revenues can't even cover social payments.
Maia Parnas explained the increasingly lower budget revenues on falling domestic sales.
