Budget revenues exceeded by 9% the budgetary plan – Ministry of Finance
In the period from January to April 2006 incomes of 2,543 billion lei were accumulated to the state budget, constituting 109, 3% compared to the expected incomes for this period. An increase of 15,3% was registered compared to the same period of the last year.
At the same time, 2,595 billion lei of the state budget were spent, registering an increase of 16,8% compared to the same period of the last year.
Asked to comment upon the amount obtained over the planned one, sources of Ministry of Finance (MF) refused to give any figure, on the ground that „the approved version by ministry’s management, where no changes can be made”, was presented to the press.
According to MF, average daily collection, in this period, was of 30,6 million lei, by 4 millions more than daily average for 2005. In order to implement investment projects, in January-March, grants by foreign donors of about 59,8 million lei were provided.
Since year’s beginning, there were collected in the special funds total incomes of 59,2 million lei, and public institutions financed by the state budget collected special means of 211,1 million lei.
According to cost structure made in this period, for paying wages to workers of public institutions there were allotted 356,2 million lei, for retirement allowances and state monthly allocations to war invalids and participants at the II World War – 77,8 millions, of scholarships – 33 million lei.
Expenses for the energy sector are estimated to 86,4 million lei, 65,5 millions of them – for investments financing. To the National Company of Health Insurances were transferred 334 million lei, and to social state insurance budget – 194,2 million lei, being entirely paid all requirements addressed within this period.
In order to pay the foreign loans provided to RM, in this period there were maid external payments of 16 million dollars, or 207,3 million lei, 7,7 million dollars of them (99,8 million lei) are the basic payment, and 8,3 million dollars (107,5 million lei) – the interest. 52,2 million lei were used for reimbursing internal debts.
