This Saturday, April 13, is a working day for budget-funded employees. They work for April 30, which will be a nonworking day. This way, the budget-funded employees will have five days off on Easter that this year is celebrated on April 28, together with the nonworking day of May 1, when it is celebrated the International Workers’ Day, IPN reports.
The students are free as April 30 forms part of the Easter vacation. Kindergartens work and the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau noted that the length of the working program for employees of early education institutions will be reduced by two hours on April 13, in accordance with the regulations. Given that not all the parents work in the budgetary system, the Division requested the directors of the kindergartens of Chisinau municipality to make sure an educator is on duty at each institution and works according to the ordinary working program.
The salary earners who are free from work or are on leave on the day considered day off do not have to work on Saturdays declared workdays.
Under a Government decision, April 30, May 10 and August 26 will be nonworking days in 2019. Instead, April 13, May 18 and August 17, which fall on Saturday, will be working days.
The three nonworking days will supplement the bank holidays for which no other days are worked instead.
