Budget-funded employees to receive prizes for work done last year

The budget-funded employees will be conferred an annual money award equal to the size of the monthly salary for the work done in 2011, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under a decision approved by the Government, such a prize will not be given to teachers, servicemen and personnel of troops and command bodies as the salaries of these categories, except the teachers, will be raised by 19% from January. The teachers usually receive prizes at the end of the academic year.
The managers of budget-funded units will have the right to reduce or annul the prize for the salary earners who worked inefficiently or committed violations for which they were punished administratively.
About 113 million lei is needed to implement this decision.
