The Central Election Commission on October 26 approved the expenditure estimates for organizing and holding new elections in two villages in the districts of Cantemir and Criuleni on November 15, IPN reports.
Under the Commission’s decision, 23,800 lei will be allocated for the new local elections to choose councilors in Lingura village of Cantemir district. A sum of 19,500 lei will go to carry out the activities needed for organizing the elections by the electoral offices of polling places.
The Commission also decided that 23,400 lei will be allocated for organizing and holding new local councilor elections in Cosernita, Criuleni.
On September 4, the Commission was notified of the dissolution of the councils of the two villages in connection with the lack of quorum at the three constitution meetings.
