Chisinau suburban Budesti town twinned successfully with a new town, this time with an Italian one. The Twinning Agreement between the town from Moldova and Bertinoro, Italy, has been signed on Wednesday, March 14. According to mayor of Budesti Nina Costiuc, the event was organised pursuing the intention declared by Budesti Town Hall to actively contribute to “maintain union, impartiality and freedom in an integrated Europe”. Besides authorities from the two settlements, Moldovan officials and guests from abroad, including officials from the settlements with which Budesti twinned earlier - Kaufungen, Germany, and Ale Kommun, Sweden, attended the signing ceremony.
