“Bucurii pentru copii”, anthology put together by Vasile Romanciuc

A series of stories for children written by 20 authors were brought together by Vasile Romanciuc in an anthology entitled “Bucurii pentru copii” (“Joys for children”). The collection appeared at the Publishing House “Bibliotheca” in Romania’s Targoviste and was presented in Chisinau today, September 4, IPN reports.

The book includes stories by Ion Druta, Aureliu Busuioc, Vladimir Besleaga, Spiridon Vangheli and by Romanian authors.

“In Moldova, the new generation of writers for children is promising and goes in the right direction. The children learn better when they are suggested than when they are banned,” said Mihai Stan, writer from Targoviste.

“I welcome the interests expressed in this area that was unfairly abandoned, which is the literature for children. Only the book for children can unite different people such as painters, editors and literary critics. I deduced from this book that we have what to boast of as we have a well-represented segment,” said writer Diana Vrabie, who wrote the foreword of the anthology.

Writer Spiridon Vangheli noted that writing literature for children is the hardest thing. “In our literature, there are many boring, moralizing and unexcited texts that lack personality and the children should not accept such a thing. The teachers should sound the alarm so that such situations do not repeat. The anthology “Bucurii pentru copii” contains good stories and I recommend it to the children,” he said.

The launch was attended by students from a number of Chisinau lyceums.
