A bus running on the Bucharest- Chisinau road collided with a car near Munteni commune of Galati County in Romania. The driver of the car died on the spot, while another three persons from the vehicle needed medical care. No one was hurt on the bus.

Contacted by IPN, spokeswoman for the Galati County Police Inspectorate Gabriela Costin, police commissioner, said the road accident occurred at about 00.45am on the European road E581, not far from Munteni. A resident of Tepu commune of Galati County aged 34 collided head-on with the bus when moving to the counterflow lane. As a result of the collision, the car driver died, while three persons aged between 13 and 34 suffered injuries.

Gabriela Costin also said that legal action over killing through fault and causing of bodily injuries through fault was started in this case.
