Brothers face 25 years in jail for killing young man
Two brothers from Drochia district, aged 20 and 22, were arrested by the police as a result of an argument with two co-villagers whom they stabbed with a knife. According to the Ministry of the Interior, one of the victims died on the way to the hospital, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The fight happened in Suri village of Drochia district following an older conflict, when one of the brothers was ill-treated by the victims.
After exchanging replies, the four started to fight in the middle of the village. The brothers took by a knife from a ceremony hall located nearby and stabbed the two co-villagers in the abdomen and the thorax. One of the victims aged 18 died on the way to the hospital, while the other man suffered serious injuries.
The two brothers face up to 25 years in prison for murder attempt.
