Wrestler Irina Ringaci won bronze at Under-23 World Championship. The competition was held in Budapest. Irina Ringaci, for whom this is the first Under 23 World Championship, obtained three victories in the 62 kg weight class, IPN reports.

Irina defeated the Austrian Kathrin Mathis, the Spanish Lydia Perez Tourino and the Belarussian Veranika Ivanova. But she lost to the future champion, Yuzuka Inagaki, from Japan.

Irina Ringaci is coached by Andrei Chiperi and Petru Chiperi.
