Moldova will be promoted as a tourist destination in five of the busiest border crossings: Leuseni, Chisinau International Airport, Cahul, Sculeni and Palanca. Until August 20, over ten thousand informative-promotional materials will be distributed to the diaspora and to foreigners.
According to an Investment Agency press release, leaflets distributed at the crossing points contain the agenda of cultural-tourist events. The leaflets promote 30 events that are scheduled to take place in 2019 in Moldova, under the umbrella of the country's brand "The Tree of Life".
Along with the brochure, visitors entering the country will also receive a tourist map that includes 20 of the most relevant tourist destinations in Moldova - museums, wineries, religious monuments, historical and natural reserves.
According to the organizers, the "Experience Moldova" campaign urges foreigners and locals alike to discover the touristic potential of the country.
