The Broadcasting Coordination Council approved the business plan of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” (TRM) that was presented by the company’s president Constantin Marin on January 25. Under the plan, the institution will broadcast more recreational programs and will establish cooperation relations with local broadcasters, Info-Prim Neo reports. Constantin Marin said there were set new objectives for modernizing the institution. For the first time, the budget of “Teleradio-Moldova” includes 12 million lei for the company’s modernization and digitalization. Another novelty is the cost cards designed for every program. The TRM president said the structural reform defined in the business plan will impact the editorial policy and status of the institution. Director of the public TV channel Moldova 1 Mircea Surdu said that this year they will produce much more entertaining programs. There will be also launched a reality show “What do men want?”. A similar project titled “What do women want?” will follow then.
