Broadcasting Council left powerless because of debts

Moldova's Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) was switched off from the power grid on Friday, because of debts. “The power was switched off because a bill due on June 12 was not paid up,” Info-Prim Neo has learnt from Vasile Gribincea, a press officer of the power distributor Red Union Fenosa. Gribincea has not specified the amount to be discharged. The BCC will be switched on after paying the bill. The BCC chairman has not returned calls to comment the situation.
