Broadcasting authority will change quarters
The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) will soon move to a new building located on 46/A Vlaicu Parcalab Street in Chisinau.
The building and the adjoining 2ha land assigned under a recently adopted Government decision is to be vacated by the previous occupant in a one month’s term.
The Ministry of Finance was charged with the task to identify funds for redesigning and repairing the building.
BCC Chairman Gheorghe Gorincioi has earlier told Info-Prim Neo that the Council needs larger spaces, first of all, to develop its monitoring centre, which is now inconveniently located in the BCC’s ceremonial hall. BCC needs an entire storey for arranging and equipping the Centre, he said.
Gorincioi has complained that the Council doesn’t have adequate rooms for internal meetings and public sittings. At the same time, some BCC members have to work in offices of 8 sq m together with other two co-workers, Gorincioi said.
