The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) on Friday selected ten candidates to be proposed to Parliament for consideration when it elects the members of the Supervisory Board of the national public broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova”, Info-Prim Neo reports. The nominations were made from among 32 initial candidates. Each candidate was heard by the Council on his/her views and proposals. The ten nominations are to be considered by the specialized parliamentary commissions before Parliament elects five members to Teleradio's Supervisory Board. The ten candidates are: Dumitru Tira, journalist; Sergiu Corcebas, pedagogue; Aurelia Peru-Balan, politologist; Alexei Mocanu, journalist; Eugeniu Rabca, lawyer; Viorica Cucereanu, journalist; Alexei Tulbure, historian; Viorica Mesina-Prodan, journalist; Vitalie Tapes, manager; Constantin Lunca, journalist. Three out of nine seats in the Supervisory Board became vacant earlier this year while two other seats will be vacated at the end of this month.
