Effective on 1 April 2013, broadcasters in Moldova will be required to ensure at least 30% of local programming, under a decision adopted by the Broadcasting Coordination Council at its last meeting this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under the decision, broadcasters are required to present to the Council a general concept until 1 March 2013. At the same meeting, the Council administered a public warning to the channel JurnalTV for violating sexual content rules when airing The Tudors series at an inappropriate hour and without an appropriate age-based warning label.
