The Broadcasting Coordination Council extended the broadcast licenses of four radio stations, namely Radio Moldova, Radio Stil/Stilinoe Radio, Discovery FM, and Radio 7 Gold FM. The decision was taken in a meeting on September 19, IPN reports.

The licenses will be valid for a period of seven years. Another four applications for renewing the licenses were rejected or are yet to be examined.

The application of Univers FM wasn’t considered because the radio station’s representative didn’t come to the Council’s meeting, while that of Europa Plus Moldova wasn’t examined because the broadcast schedule contained inaccuracies. The applications of Radio Prim and TV Prim were rejected for the reason that they were submitted after the time limit.
