Brasov hosts Moldova students and teachers as part of trans-Romanian interschool exchange
About 40 students and teachers of the theoretical high school located in Magdacesti village in Criuleni district are completing on May 8 the activities organized as part of the interschool exchange in the town of the First Romanian School, Brasov. At the end of their stay in Romania, the Bessarabian students will premiere a performance at the Cultural Center Reduta in Brasov, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The aim of the event was to discover the Romanian culture and civilization through the angle of the modern education system. Between May 3 and 8, the team from Moldova visited the main schools, the universities, cultural institutions and museums in Brasov. They went on a tour of Brasov and its suburbs (Bran, Sibiu, Sinaia), the organizers said.
The interschool cultural exchange forms part of the project “Cultural and Educational Interferences with the Romanians from Around Us” organized by the Brasov-based Romanian People Foundation and the partner institutions from Brasov. The aim of the project is to help the Romanians living near border to directly recognize the cultural-educational realities in Romania by organizing interschool cultural and educational exchanges for students that are invited to classes in schools in Brasov. The teachers are invited to the Teaching Staff House to receive training in the areas in which they work. Another objective of the project is to organize performances and activities designed to promote the culture of the Romanians from everywhere and present it to the general public in all its beauty and complexity.
When the project is complete, the results achieved as part of it will be developed because every student and teacher that took part in the project will become an active promoter of the Trans-Romanian culture at the place of birth and will share the experience accumulated as the well developed persons become shapers themselves.
