Six boxers leave for London on March 12 to compete in the first Olympic Games qualification tournament, IPN reports.
These are: Dorin Bucșa (57 kg weight class), Alexandru Paraschiv (63 kg), Dumitru Galagoț (69 kg), Andrei Vreme (75 kg), Andrei Kiriakov (81 kg) and Iulia Coroli (57 kg). The second qualification tournament will take place in Paris in May.
The Moldovan boxers won three medals at the Olympic Games so far. These are: Timofei Scriabin (1988), Vitalie Grușac (2000) and Veaceslav Gojan (2008).
