Boxer Vladislav Gudzi won the silver medal at the European Youth Championship, which was held in Bulgaria.

In the final of the 64 kg weight category, the boxer from Tiraspol lost to the Russian Ilia Shakirov. Earlier, Vladislav Gudzi defeated Lithuanian Erikas Laurikietis, Finn Jere Niemeldinen and Turk Mehmet Aydemir.

Daria Kozorez, also from Tiraspol, won a medal as well. She won the bronze medal in the 81 kg weight category. Kozorez lost to Turkish boxer Elanur Sagit in the semifinals.
