Moldovan athlete Ștefan Voznyakovski has won the Balkan Boxing Championship held in Bulgaria. In the final of the 63.5 kg class, he defeated the representative of the hosts Krasimir Dzhurov, IPN reports.
In the 67 kg class, Vladislav Gudzi reached the final, but lost to Ukraine’s Yaroslav Mikhalushko. Another Moldovan boxer, Nicolae Borduja, won a bronze medal in the +92 kg class.
The Balkan Boxing Championship involved 80 boxers from 11 countries.
