Two employees of the Border Police perished when the car in which they traveled crashed violently into a roadside tree in the morning of February 13. Antonina Talpa, PR inspector of the Traffic Police Division, told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened near Vasilcau village of Soroca district. The police were called by a motorist traveling along the same road at about 5am. As a result of the impact, the vehicle was broken into three. The bodies of two men aged between 25 and 30 were taken out of the debris. Both of the men were in Border Police uniforms. It is presumed that the accident occurred between 2am and 5am. The press service of the Border Police has told Info-Prim Neo that a group of employees went to the spot to establish the identity of the two young men and if they were on duty when the accident happened.
