The Border Police were equipped with two modern off-road vehicles for patrolling the border areas. The vehicles were donated by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) as part of the "Moldova 2025" operation, IPN reports.

To ensure the efficient use of these vehicles, FRONTEX organized an intensive training program for border guards from 13 to 24 January. The sessions were attended by 20 border guards and 30 FRONTEX experts.

The training program aimed at developing the skills necessary to operate vehicles in difficult terrain conditions. Participants learned advanced techniques of handling vehicles on rough roads, areas with low visibility and in extreme weather conditions.
