The border crossing points Cosauti – Iampoli and Soroca – Tsekinovka, which are located on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, were closed following an increase in the level of water in the Nistru River, the Customs Service’s press officer Alina Sargu has told IPN.
The work of the two border checkpoints was suspended with the consent of the cooperation bodies of Ukraine. The border authorities warn the participants in the crossborder traffic to go through the Otaci-Moghiliov-Podolsk checkpoint.
There are three international checkpoint crossings on the Nistru.
