Book about political PR launched in Chisinau
Aurelia Peru-Balan has launched in Chisinau her book titled “Political PR and Crisis Communication in Moldova, 2009-2010”. The monographic study was produced with support from the Institute of European Integration and Political Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The author said she aimed to study the behavior of the political players in Moldova in a period of crisis and to decipher their messages addressed to the voters as well as to determine if the voters correctly understand the electoral messages of the political parties.
Constantin Marin, the president of Teleradio Moldova Company, said one should have great courage to write such a book in such a period. “Things in Moldova have not calmed down. I congratulate Aurelia Peru-Balan on this work and wish her many readers,” he said.
Attending the launch, composer Eugen Doga said the book is intended for students, professors and politicians as well as ordinary readers and all those who want to teach the masses political culture. “I hope this book will inspire other researchers and it will have a continuation,” said Eugen Doga.
Aurelia Peru-Balan is a journalist, Doctor of Political Sciences, and coordinating scientific researcher of the Institute of European Integration and Political Sciences. She was one of the first presenters-editors who after 1991 launched synthesis, analysis and political comment programs.
