Bomb threats at Chisinau City Hall and Embassy of Ukraine. No explosives found at scenes

A man called the 112 service at about 7am this morning, saying there are explosives inside the Chisinau City Hall and at the Embassy of Ukraine, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau Police Division, all the specialized services travelled to the scenes. The areas were fences and the buildings are being examined.

The police are taking steps to identify the person who made the phone call.

Update /6:19pm/ The expert teams found no suspect objects or explosive devices. In both of the cases, there were instituted criminal proceedings. The police are taking measures to identify and arrest the caller.
