The employees and visitors who were inside the building of the Ciocana Court of Chisinau were evacuated after a man called the 112 Service at 8:38am this morning and said that explosives had been planted in that building, IPN reports.
According to press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco, the police cordoned off the area. The building and the adjoining area are being examined by expert services.
Update /10:40am/ The services didn’t find any suspect objects or explosives at the scene.
The Chisinau Police Division said that legal action was taken over intentional misleading about an act of terrorism. The caller faces a maximum fine of 42,500 lei or 180 to 240 hours of community service, or a maximum jail term of two years.
