Municipal councilors and employees of the Chisinau City Hall are being escorted out in an emergency following a bomb scare. The bomb squad is searching the building for explosive devices, IPN reports.

According to the deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division Silviu Musuc, a man phoned the police on 902 at 10.40 and informed that a bomb was planted in the building of the Chisinau City Hall.

The man who called the police said he is a war veteran and has been waiting for the municipal authorities to provide him with a dwelling for a long time, but all in vain.

The identity of the man hasn’t been discovered yet. But the police identified the mobile phone number from which the call was made.
