Update/10:55am/ No explosive devices were found as a result of searches performed at the head offices of the Chisinau City Court. Criminal proceedings over intentional misleading of an act of terrorism were instituted in this case. The caller faces a fine of 27,500 to 42,500 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service or a maximum jail term of two years.

(Initial news item) The employees of the Buiucani and Centru branches of the Chisinau City Court and all the persons who were inside were evacuated on May 24 after a man called the 112 Service and said that there was an explosive inside the two buildings, IPN reports.

The Chisinau Police Division said the specialized services travelled to the scene for checks. The police are taking measures to identify the caller.
