After the November 9 bomb hoax at the Chisinau City Appeals Court, a new bomb scare was reported today, this time at the Buiucani branch of the Chisinau City Court situated on Ștefan cel Mare Blvd, IPN reports.
The Chisinau Police Division said a man called the 112 service and said that there was an explosive device inside the building. All the specialized services travelled to the scene
The police evacuated all the employees and visitors. Measures are being taken to identify the caller.
Update /1:02pm/ The specialized services didn’t find any suspect objects or explosive devices. This bomb scare also turned out to be a hoax.
Criminal proceedings were instituted in this case. Under the Penal Code, the authors of bomb hoaxes face fines of 27,500 to 42,500 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service or at most two years in jail.
