A short time ago, the authorities in Germany’s Frankfurt and the UK’s Liverpool and Northampton, were alerted that bombs had been planted at some of the polling stations, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova.
The specialized services of the given states implemented the protocols for alert situations and have already completed the anti-terrorism check by declaring the scares hoaxes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the bomb threats were false and were designed only to stop the voting process.
The Moldovan authorities previously announced malevolent intentions to stage false bomb threats and are coordinating the actions with the authorities of the targeted states.
