A bomb threat was reported at the Chisinau International Airport. The border police of the Chisinau-Airport checkpoint were alerted by a travel agency, which was phoned by an individual and informed that an explosive device was placed on a plane that is to land in Chisinau.

Press officer of the Border Police Daniela Manzatu has told IPN that the plane is to land on a reserve site. The authorities didn’t specify what flight is experiencing the bomb scare. 

All the entities that provide services at the airport were mobilized as the intervention teams of the specialized services of the Ministry of the Interior were. A special group consisting of investigation and prosecution officers of the Border Police is taking measures to identify the caller.
