Combat engineers and police officers were mobilized at the head office of the state-owned document issuing company “Registru” in Chisinau after a woman called 902 and announced that the institution’s building will be blown up soon.

Contacted by IPN, spokesman for the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the sappers are examining the building, while the section of Pushkin St between Stefan cel Mare Blvd. and Columna St was closed for traffic.

The author of the bomb threat put forward no demands.
