The employees and visitors of the Chisinau Appeals Court were evacuated in the morning of April 16 after a yet unidentified man called the 112 service and announced that a bomb will be exploded inside the building. All the specialized services travelled to the scene and the area was fenced.

The call was made at 10:40am and the caller spoke Russian. He said the bomb will be blown up in three hours, press officer of the Generac Police Inspectorate Mariana Bețivu has told IPN.

For now, it is not known where the man  called from and if he used a mobile or a landline phone. A police investigation is under way.
