Four banks situated in Chisinau experienced bomb threats. Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir has told IPN that the scenario was the same in all the cases: the bank was called and informed about the bomb planted inside it and the bank, for its part, called the police.

In the case of three banks, the bomb scares turned out to be false. As to the fourth bank, located on Mircea cel Batran Blvd, the bomb squad is still examining the place, while the employees were evacuated.

The police haven’t yet identified the culprit and it’s not known if it’s the same caller in all the cases.
