The employees of the trolleybus depot No. 1 of Chisinau were evacuated on March 5 after an individual called the police and said that he planted an explosive device at the depot located at 146 Dosoftei St.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that a bomb squad of the Buiucani Police Inspectorate examined the place, but found no suspect object. The man who called from a public phone hasn’t been yet identified.

Legal action will be taken over deliberate misinforming about an act of terrorism. The caller faces up to two years in jail.

The schedule of trolleybuses running on routes in Chisinau hasn’t been affected.
