A bomb hoax was reported at the Buiucani branch of the Chisinau Court. A man called the 112 service and said that explosive devices had been planted inside the building. A bomb squad examined the place, but didn’t find any explosive, press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Natalia Stati has told IPN.

The Chisinau Police Division said that criminal proceedings were instituted in this case. Under the Penal Code, the authors of bomb hoaxes face fines of 27,500 to 42,500 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service or at most two years in jail.
