A man called the police on Friday morning to announce that he found what appeared to be an explosive device in his car parked in downtown Chisinau. A bomb disposal unit was deployed to isolate the area and check. Chisinau Police chief Silviu Musuc has told Info-Prim Neo that the man who called in is a former officer of the Correctional Institutions Department.
