Socialist MP Bogdan Țîrdea considers Silvia Radu was named to the post of minister of health, labor and social protection for electoral purposes. In the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel, he said Silvia Radu won 17% of the vote in the Chisinau mayoral elections and will most probably be fielded as a candidate in a single-member constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections, IPN reports.
Bogdan Țîrdea said the Democratic Party’s decision to appoint the two ministers is mistaken. “Besides causing a scandal in society, a new institutional blockade and a new conflict of the power, which again generated problems in the functioning of the state institutions, this situation aired once more the dirty laundry in public at international level,” stated the MP.
Spokesman for the Democratic Party Vitalie Gamurari said that when the Government reform was made, it was noted that the ministers will have a rather managerial role and will deal directly with the programs and reforms proposed by the PDM.
On September 25, Silvia Radu was invested as minister of health, labor and social protection, while Nicolae Ciubuc as minister of agriculture, regional development and environment.
