Body of young man that drowned several days ago in the Nistru found
The corpse of the 19-year-old man that got drowned in the Nistru River near Parata village in Dubasari district was recovered by divers on July 16. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the man lost his live through inattentiveness. He jumped into the water without knowing the depth and shape of the river in that place.
Spokeswoman Liliana Puscasu has told Info-Prim Neo that Andrei Gomaniuc, who is the oldest of three children in the family, went swimming with the friends in the evening. He jumped into the water with the head downward and could not get out of the water as he got stuck into a trench on the bottom of the river. His body was found there.
The firefighters dealt with eight fires on July 16. A Dacia-Logan of the taxi service 1407 caught fire as a result of a short circuit at the intersection of Varnita and Lunca Bacului streets. The taxi drivers called the Ciocana firefighters that extinguished the fire. But a part of the saloon was destroyed.
A fire that broke out in a house in Navarnet village in Falesti district destroyed all the goods in the house and the roof. The cause and the damage are yet to be determined.
As many as 1,125 fires have happened in Moldova since the start of this year, according to the statistics of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Services.
