An adolescent aged 15 from Seliste village of Orhei district went to ride his bike and did not return home anymore. His body was found by the roadside in the morning of June 16. Dumitru Croitor, major of the Orhei police commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that the boy’s sister called the police at 02.20 and announced that her brother went to ride his bike at 20.00 and did not return. At 06.40, the Emergency Service informed the police that the body of the missing boy, with visible signs of violent death, was found on the Orhei – Calarasi road, not far from Seliste village. The police presume the boy was struck by a car. An investigation is underway to identify the hit-and-run driver.
