The body of a man aged 58 with visible signs of a violent death was found not far from Putinești village of Florești district. The police arrested a suspect. This is a man aged 18 from the same district.

Asked by IPN to provide details, Lilia Harea, press officer of the Florești Police Inspectorate, said the victim worked as a taxi driver. His car was found near Alexeevca village by a person who alerted the police. The arrested young man hasn’t made statements yet. It was yet established that a conflict arouse between the two aroused and the young man killed the taxi driver and took his car, which he later abandoned.

The young man faces 15 to 20 years in jail or life over deliberate murder.
