A student of the Straseni boarding school was beaten by lads from Gratiesti village, where he was spending the Easter holidays. The 14-year-old boy suffered an associated trauma, a concussion, facial injuries and got three ribs broken. A 38-year-old man from Chisinau died from chronic alcohol abuse, while a woman aged 43 died after she abused alcohol throughout last week. A man in his 50s was found in an alcoholic coma in the yard of a building located on Muncesti Street. He was taken to the hospital for detox. On April 6, the Chisinau Ambiance Service dealt with 732 calls, including 61 cases of acute viral infection, 49 cases of trauma, four strokes and 11 deliveries.
